In the late 1500's Francis Drake, an English Mariner from a poor family rose up the ranks to become one of Queen Elizabeth's greatest Weapons against the Spanish. From his dark early times in the slave trade to his time as a privateer to his circumnavigation of the globe, this son of a poor minister did it all and even got knighted!
